Who we are

Nosara Jungle is a private transportation service based in Nosara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. You can reach us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp at (506) 8309-8929.

What we collect

When you send the booking form we keep the details you write in it:

  • your name and your WhatsApp or phone number, and your email if you add it;
  • your travel date and pick-up time, pick-up and drop-off places, number of passengers, flight number, pet details and special requests;
  • how you prefer to pay, and the price the website showed you.

To stop spam we also keep a scrambled code made from your internet connection. We cannot turn it back into your IP address, and we do not keep the address itself.

The public website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. We do not use artificial intelligence to process your details.

Why we use it

Only to arrange your transfer: to confirm the driver and the time with you, to contact you about your trip, and to keep a record of the trips we do. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

Who else handles it

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and the database where your booking is kept.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): when you press "Send via WhatsApp", your trip opens in WhatsApp so you can send it to us. What happens inside WhatsApp follows WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
  • JP Asesores built this website for us and keeps it running, so it has technical access to the systems that host it.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to provide the service and to keep our business records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your personal details. Write to us by email or WhatsApp with your booking reference (it looks like NJ-XXXXXX). When we delete them, we remove your name, phone, email, flight and notes, and keep only the trip itself (date, route and amount) for our accounting records.

In Costa Rica personal data is protected by Law 8968. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB).
